The Capital City of Rajasthan is Jaipur. It is the Popular Tourist Destination in Rajasthan known for its Series of Monuments like Temples, Forts, Palaces. Jaipur(Pink City) is also famous for its Cuisine and Drinks like Kachori, Rabdi, and Lassi. Many Tourists worldwide visit this place.
Mostly Colors of the Buildings or Monuments are of the color Pink because they used Pink Sandstone, That is the reason Jaipur is called “PINK CITY”. It is also united by India’s Golden Triangle project where it is directly linked to Agra and Delhi through Highway Route.
The City of Jaipur was founded by Jai Singh II of Amer, It is after him the City was named Jaipur in 1727. The Architecture and City Planning is done by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. At the time of British India, this city was the capital of Jaipur State.
Hawa Mahal was built during 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh. That was Palace built for ladies to experience the cool breeze and enjoy festivals. There are vintage cars and instruments which are displayed there. Also, Jantar Mantar is a yantra used for the purpose of Astronomy and seeing objects farther in Sky by Jai Singh II.
The City is developed based on the conditions of Vastu by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya. The City has all Pink shades everywhere because the material used for building Palaces and mahals are Red Sandstone and Pink Sandstone.
Jaipur City is now very well developed in Transportation. Jaipur Airport, Jaipur Railway Station, and Jaipur Bus Stand are the Major Transportation that has direct trains/flights to Metropolitan Cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and many other cities. Jaipur Metro Station Commenced its operation in 2015 and phase – II is still under construction.

Unesco has granted Jaipur, World Heritage Status on 6th July 2019, For its Culture, Ancient Architecture, and also based on History.
